Northern California Fishing Reports

These fishing reports are designed to be honest, useful, and pressure-free. Instead of trying to update every fishery all the time, each water is updated individually when I’m on the water or receive reliable information.

Some sections may show recent updates, others may reflect seasonal norms. Both are intentional.

How These Reports Work

Each fishery has its own dedicated page with two types of information:

Evergreen information that doesn’t change—how the water fishes, seasonal patterns, and general approach.

Current conditions including flows, fly recommendations, and gear notes—updated when conditions warrant.

If a report hasn’t been updated recently, it doesn’t mean the fishing is bad. It usually means conditions are stable. Just Click On the Image to Read the Full Report!
